How we make money

When you complete an enquiry form on this site, your enquiry may be passed to one or more cosmetic surgery providers. If a provider accepts that enquiry, we are paid a fee by that provider.

• The fee is paid by the provider. It is never charged to you, and it does not change the price you are quoted.
• We are paid for the referral itself, not as a share of what you go on to spend on surgery.
• We do not receive a share of what you ultimately pay for surgery.
• You are under no obligation to proceed with any provider we refer you to.

Before you submit anything, read the privacy policy — it sets out exactly what we collect, who receives it and how to have it deleted.

Commercial arrangements do not determine what our guides say. Specifically:

• Cost figures come from published sources, not from partners. Every dollar figure on this site is taken from a provider’s own published price list, the Medicare Benefits Schedule, or a health fund’s published data — and is cited to that source with the date we checked it.
• Risk and complication content is not softened for partners. We do not remove or downplay a risk because a provider would prefer we did.
• We do not accept payment for favourable coverage, and we do not sell placement inside our guides.
• Paying us does not get a provider recommended. We do not rank or recommend individual practitioners at all.

We do not work with every provider in Australia, and the providers we refer to are not necessarily the only, cheapest or most suitable options available to you. You should always compare independently and seek a second opinion.

Australian law treats material connections between a publisher and the providers it promotes as something consumers are entitled to know about. Beyond the law, a cost guide written by someone who is paid when you book is only useful if you know that going in.
